Jayden’s new pool
Remember the little wading pools we used to play in during the summer? I do, they were a few inches deep, a couple feet across, had pretty wimpy sides, always ended up full of grass. But they got the job done, I loved playing in those pools with my brothers and sisters.
Jayden got this “pool” for his birthday from his grandma and grandpa. Look at this contraption.
It has water that shoots out all around the edge, a palm tree, a water slide with a puffy clam shell landing pad, stacking star fish rings, a dolphin to sit on, and a covered cave so that when the sun becomes too unbearable, you have a place to rest.
Aunt Jojee got him a pool too, it’s a blow up wading pool that also comes with a sun-shade, which I love because I’m going to need a place to sit while Jayden goes to town in his blow up water amusement park.
I distinctly remember telling everyone that I did not want my child to be spoiled. I want him to grow up wanting to better himself through hard work and a will do attitude, not by a giving hand. Oh what the heck, he looks like he is having a great time to me. I want one of those little pools so that I can wear my speedo and tan my nice paste white body. Just a visual for all the ladies out there. My wife can tell you she loves it.
haha royal… Jayden not be spoiled?? You are not going to win that battle. The whole speedo thing?? You may want to reconsider that.. I don’t think that would be the best choice, please spare us all!!!! And you know that your wife would just make fun of you in that, she wouldn’t love it. She would love mocking you! :)
After reading Royal’s comment I totally forgot what I was going to say. I started cracking up and Brendan came over, so I showed him the pictures of Jayden and he said, “I think I should get a pool like that.” My goodness! Where did they find that thing?! That thing is amazing. Who needs Wild Waves? Love the pictures of my little nephew. I miss you guys. Nice grass by the way!
OH MY GOSH!!!!! HE IS SO CUTE!!!!!! What a great swimming pool and that very green grass looks so squishy. It would be so fun to be a kid and roll around in it. The visual of Royal though is a little scary.
