Cute Little Sweater

sweater

I taught a knitting class this weekend on sweaters.  The pattern we used is great for people who have never knit a sweater before, because the whole thing is knit in one piece.  So there are no seams to sew and no arms to sew onto the sweater when you are finished.  The toughest part is making sure your arms are the same length.  We knit up a size for an infant, obviously because it is smaller and you can get it done faster, but the adult size is exactly the same, just with a few more stiches.  That way it is easy to convert to any size you want.

I decided I would make a sweater along with the class, but the only yarn I had that would fit the pattern is blueish-purple with specs of other colors in it.  A little girly for Jayden.  So, this will go in the drawer that has all the other stuff I’ve knit up for a girl.  Sheesh, would somebody have a girl already?

You are so impatient. I am trying to have a girl but the doctors keep telling me that men just can’t bear children. I refuse to believe this because I think I can do anything.

I like your new page lay out. Especially this lovely lavendar color. I think you like purple way more than I do! Don’t you have some purple walls in your house? About the girl thing. I’ll go ahead and leave that one up to you. I know Royal can do it!
