Middle of Nowhere…Um…I mean Wichita

So, I made it to Wichita today. Uneventful flights, and I pretty much read an entire book. Good thing I brought two, so I have one for the return flights. I did however cut it close in my connection in Denver, but I power-walked through the terminal and made it to my gate with 2 mins to spare! Wichita’s airport is the smallest airport I think I have ever been to. It is a whopping 1 story high, and takes about 5 mins to walk from one end to the other. Oh yea, and by one end, I mean out on the tarmac where you get off the plane. There is a benefit to this tiny airport though, by the time you get off your plane, make a quick pit stop in the bathroom, wash your hands and look in the mirror and wonder how the heck your hair can look like that when all you’ve done all day is sit, and then walk to the one and only baggage terminal, your bags are already circulating, just waiting for you to pick them up. So that’s nice, no more 30 minute waits wondering if your bag didn’t make it and if it’s time to give it up and go fill out a lost bag form. When I got to the hotel, I gave Royal a quick call to tell him I’d made it safe, only for him to inform me that Jayden, who is staying at with grandparents in Kelso, has been throwing up all morning. Fantastic. (I called the g-parents and found out that he is now able to keep food down and is acting just fine…so that’s good). I then met up with our realtor here and went through about 10 houses. I found a couple that I like, but as I am going through a whole bunch tomorrow, we’ll see if I find any I like better. I’m tired and can’t wait to come home. Or am I already home? I’m confused… :)

Like I said before, you did a great job, love you even more today, than yesterday, and as every day comes and goes I love you more still.
